Hello children, my name is Haleigh O’Neill. You can call me “Miss Haleigh”

Here is a little information about me:

I am from a small rural village in County Armagh, Northern Ireland. I have a younger brother and sister, making me the oldest.

I moved to Prague in August 2022 and have fallen in love with this beautiful city. It has always been a dream of mine to live abroad and experience different cultures. I love to visit all the amazing sites and experiences this city has to offer. I hope to explore more of the Czech Republic soon.

I love travelling and hope to do as much as possible in my lifetime. I have so far been to Portugal, Croatia, France, Germany, Spain, the USA and many places throughout the north and south of Ireland. When I am not teaching or travelling, I enjoy going to nice cafes and restaurants, and I also love to read.

As a teacher, I hope to create a fun and engaging environment for my students. I want my students to enjoy learning English, to feel comfortable using the language and never be afraid about making mistakes. I can’t wait to see the progress we make this year!

Pár slov o mně:

Pocházím z malé vesničky na venkově v hrabství Armagh v Severním Irsku. Mám mladšího bratra a sestru a jsem tedy nejstarší.

Do Prahy jsem se přestěhovala v srpnu roku 2022 a toto krásné město jsem si hned zamilovala. Vždy jsem si přála žít v jiných zemích a poznávat jiné kultury. Jsem moc ráda za všechna úžasná místa a zážitky, které Praha nabízí. Doufám, že v brzké době více prozkoumám další části České republiky.

Miluji cestování a doufám, že se mi v životě podaří navštívit co nejvíce zemí. Doposud jsem navštívila Portugalsko, Chorvatsko, Francii, Německo, Španělsko, USA a mnoho míst na severu a jihu Irska. Když neučím nebo necestuji, ráda navštěvuji kavárny a restaurace a také moc ráda čtu.
Doufám, že pro vás vytvořím zábavné a poutavé prostředí. Přála bych si, aby vás výuka angličtiny bavila, cítili jste se při ní příjemně a nebáli se dělat chyby. Nemohu se dočkat pokroku, kterého v tomto roce dosáhneme!
